The residents of Lekki phase 1 have actually begged and advised NTDA and Lagos State Govt in respect of that location for a fuel station but as always, the advise of the populace holds no water with Nigerian governments at all levels. May God protect all the people living beside that fuel station.

Unknown said...

Seems like an armageddon of some sort has come a-visiting in Lagos.

Anonymous said...

Why would they allow fuel stations inside a so called residential estate!!!?

Unknown said...

God help us in this country o

Unknown said...

This is not natural, we all know d Evil emissaries that have visited lagos in recent times are culpable for fermentation of all these ills. Together with them was this evil wind that swept d nook and crannies of our enviable state and has created a black firmament over our lands. Jona Jona. Kikikikikiki!, lol

What is a fuel station doing in a residential estate?corruption in dpr and ppmc so sad

What kinda news reporter talks bout an incident without stating the cause. Being a blogger now means u take pix randomly n paste? Nonsense. I might as well just go on bbm n look at pix than receiving these links. Complete waste of time.

Favour belle said...

Whatever force is behind this won't succeed. Why do "they" want to turn lagos to a cemetery or give it a bad name. On a more serious note this is more spiritual than an emergency case.

Gozie said...

A friend was driving by when it happened and he's still shaken by it. He says he saw someone on fire but d explosion was so high and fire hot and no one could save d burning man!

This is soo sad, no proper town planning in Nigeria, what on earth will a gas station be doing in a residential area? yet our so called leaders claim they are well travelled and still cannot copy right..This is some serious food for thought for our town planning management to start reviewing all gas stations wrongly located all around, imagine how much fumes people have inhaled from this unfortunate tragedy...na wa God help us..

jimi itowun said...

it was planed some weeks ago terrorists now fire

God punish you. You go and blame ur grand father, did GEJ set the fire or does he live in lagos? U better beware

Anonymous said...

Real fool I'm telling u. We probably should blame GEJ for his stupidity too.
