63 senators back plan to impeach President Jonathan?

Punch is reporting that 63 senators as of yesterday Thursday November 27th have signed up to the plan to impeach President Goodluck Jonathan in the upper legislative chamber.

They reported that one of the arrowheads of the move to remove Jonathan in the Senate showed one of their correspondents the list containing the signatures of the senators. A source told the paper that 8 PDP senators were among the signatories to the planned impeachment notice. There are 109 members in the Senate.
 From Punch

An All Progressives Congress senator from the North-West zone, who asked not to be named, told our correspondent that the lawmakers’ major grouse was the President’s handling of the economy and political affairs of the country.
The senator cited poor implementation of the national budget since 2011, alleged high level of corruption and “gross disregard” of the legislature at both the federal and state levels as topping the list of lawmakers’ anger against Jonathan.
Asked whether he realised that the process of impeachment could be tedious and cumbersome, the senator said, “ We know and we are prepared to show the President that we have responsibility to the people and the nation in general.
“We are prepared to lay the impeachment notice anytime from next week. Meetings are already being held.”
Senator Ibrahim Musa (APC Niger North) confirmed that there were moves by some members of the Senate to initiate impeachment proceedings against the President but failed to give details.
“I think there is something like that but I don’t have the details, it is still coming as a rumour,” Musa said.

They are fooling themselves. Impeach and bring war....

Buhari is a Northern he is saying PDP rule for 15 years. Nigeria is all about Northerners... Northerners everywhere... For over 40 years Northerners ceased this country and the moment another side took over, they go up blowing everywhere with bombs. Buhari should first meet with other Northern leaders and solve their violence issues before looking forward to solve a country issue. This people are bad, they are terrible. They manipulate on their uneducated people to carry out atrocities. And they are afraid of giving them room for education because the know education will make them wise and refused to be used. I know these people... I know them very well.

I saw this Article here on NL. I just want the world to see it. Pls Support by Rebroadcasting
Mubi, the biggest commercial town in Adamawa state, was thrown into chaos the day
Boko Haram descended on them and the people found themselves running for their lives.
The terrorists shot sporadically, killing a lot of people while those who could escape
jumped into any available car to run to safety.
Christians,Muslims, Igbos, Yorubas, Tivs, Hausas and any tribe or religion,
jumped onto any vehicle that was headed outside the town.
Soldiers scampered onto trucks with civilians, begging to be saved,
hundreds of people who could not get a vehicle ran into the hills.
In their frantic effort to stay alive, no one paid attention to anybody's religion
or ethnicity before asking them for help or helping them to stay alive.
It was a community of people, united by their desire to
escape the common enemy that hunted them all without discrimination.
Ethnicity and religion vanished, all they were left with was their humanity. Those climbing the hills stayed
together, helping one another stay on their feet
as they all tried to survive.

One lesson all Nigerians must learn from this
story is that as a people, all we have is our neighbours. When you need some help at home,
you knock on the door of your neighbour. The president, governor, senator or minister is not
there to help you. Why then should you continue
to fight your neighbour because of a man or
woman who cares only about his own family?
Our elites may deceive us about sharing the same religion or ethnicity with us,
but time and again, they have proven that they do not care.
We have been fools, killing one another on the
basis of religion and ethnicity while they stay
united across all the divides and plunder our wealth.

The time has come for us to rise, educate one another and unite to fight our biggest common enemy.
The politicians are our enemies and not the poor struggling men and women in our neighbourhoods.
What now will the people of Mubi boast about as
the gain of having their son as the chief of Defence Staff? If you go to Otueke where Jonathan comes from, there are many people
who live in excruciating poverty!
There is still a lot of poverty and suffering in the home towns of all our governors, ministers,
parliamentarians and former presidents, while they and their families live in scandalous affluence.
The minister of petroleum spent over 10 billion Naira on a private jet. That money can end the poverty of several communities in her state.
Stella Oduah bought two cars with 120 million Naira while there are people in her home town
who can't afford 500 Naira to feed their family in a day.
The time to throw away the sentiments is now!
Support only a man or woman who has a just
heart and will serve everyone and every community regardless of if they come from there
or not. The moment anyone begins to talk to
you about religion or ethnicity, reject him.

summarily!
We need leaders who will unite us because our shared humanity is greater than any differences between us.
And if someone does something wrong or fails in governance, do not support them simply because they're your own

Before they go on with the impeachment process, they should first of all proceed with the division plan of the country because impeachment of the president right now is an invitation of something more grave than the Niger Delta militant and the Boko harm terrorist put together. So if you Love this country Nigeria, let join hands and push this idea of impeachment few days to the election away. Any impeachment should be done by us(Nigerians) at the voting polls, that's if will want to. God bless Nigeria.

Even OBJ, during his reign as one of most powerful and No-nonsense head of state, did not send men in uniform to terrorise Lawmakers for rejecting his third term ambition.
Basically, it's a BOLD MOVE by both upper and lower house.
We're now waiting for responds from GEJ's so-called press secretary or the 85% of GEJ useless advisers and ministers picked from Northern Nigeria.
They're always pushing GEJ to the grave yard while looting our economy. May Almighty ALLAH save this country, Amen.

And I won't bleme them, its bcos their family or friends had never being attacked by this insurgence before, and people like that don't even know their right, and I pray they realise quick before its too late.
I voted for GEJ without expecting any kobo. GEJ is not the cause of Nigeria problems neither can he solve our problems. The earlier we realise that, the better for all of us
