If the Pope actually said that then I think he may just be pandering towards pleasing some people instead of what would be pleasing to GOD. Trust me, until u talk to a lot of gay people then you know majority are born gay. There was a guy i grew up with i used to call woman wrapper right from when we were kids in Nigeria. Because at 6yrs old,he walked like a girl, acted like a female too. Now we are all grown, and no one that knew him well cannot say he wasn't like that since he was born. We accept him for who he is and choose to Love instead. We continue to encourage him in Christ. Sad thing is that because of judgemental Christians, he is trapped in his own soul and body. Mind you, he grew up in a Christian home just like a lot of us. Please lets show compassion as Christians and treat them with love of Christ so that they maybe able to Overcome this.
