BGT as in Britain's Got Talent. Today is week two of the talent show and two female Nigerian dancers plus one South African dancer called CEO Dancers came on stage and danced to Iyanya's Kukere and D'banj's Oliver Twist. They tore up the stage! Simon Cowell and the other judges enjoyed it so much they put the girls through to the next round. Up Naija! Watch the video...

This is amazing. They are managed by Vanessa Amadi dbanj's publicist. I met her and she spoke about her plans for them and how she's been grooming them for the past two years. They will be huge stars under her wings. Kudos

I understand there is a 'boom' in the Nigerian music industry now- the songs are trending world wide,so i think it explains why even some people in the movie industry venture into music ..

Shame to bad people! Just a little to give Nigeria, wahala still dey.

Standards in the UK are god-awfully low. They wouldn't even be let into real dance auditions in the US. Clumsy dancing; they couldn't even do a voguing dip properly. Bloody shame!

This got me smiling... Ecstatic!

How is this talent though? Dance is something that gets perfected by practice...they won't win. This was just impulsive entertainment

To the extra dry okporoko attacking Linda: 2 (NOT 1) of the dancers are Nigerians (Ezinne Asinugo & Soliat Bada) while the other one (Nqobilé Ntshangase ) is South African. So you should get your facts straight before you try to correct someone. Mtchewwwwwwwwww

Anonymous said...

Voting for them when voting starts

Unknown said...

cross-check your spellings next time, it should be 'There is just one Nigerian'

Anonymous said...

Mayb u shud get ur english ryt 1st

He's right dis one time tho, ders no big deal making a big deal outta nothing! Nigerians are known all over d world, our music, movies and celebrities are quite popular... Why glorify any single attention we get offshore like its a big deal? It only exposes our mediocrity...

They are Iyanya's dancers. Ask him and watch his 'flavour' video. You will see two of them in the same outfit. They were once hired to dance for him in London.

We have heard now that they're not all nigerian, haba! Don't you people read posts before you post your own? Just be repeating what another person has posted. mscheeew!!!

Watched it and was like wow! Naija music is gradually going mainstream. Fantastic. Not to mention huge boost for iyanya. They're not going to win though, cos the winner gets to perform at the annual royal variety show. Not sure mama Charlie and her hubby will be up for all that booty shaking. Maybe when prince Harry becomes Keng, eheeeeen.....

Iyanya needs to go and see Simon Cowell, whoever knows him should tell him!

Anonymous said...

Does it matter if there was only one nigerian or 3? There was nigerian there and the trio danced beautifully and publicly to nigerian music in far away Britain. It is big news and i love it

Anonymous said...

lol "loved them so much that". How many contestants were so much loved and put to the next round but never made it to the live shows? let's hope dey get there

Anonymous said...

Not all of them are Nigerians. From left to right, their names are Ezinne, Soliat and Ngobile. Ezinne and Soliat are Nigerians whilst Ngobile is from South Africa. They featured in D'banj's Oliver Twist video and their videos are all over Youtube.
