He was spotted around town in Lagos last week,
and sources say he is back to launch a professional music career over here. Baba
has always been on the periphery of the music industry by virtue of regular
performance sessions with his parents who owned the popular Jazz 38 Club in
Ikoyi. A few years ago he released an underground rap album in London and has
also worked with hip-hop acts based in Europe.
A
few years ago Baba recorded and shot a heartfelt tribute to his late mother
called MAMA, which was collaboration with his sisters.The rapper/producer has just wrapped
up a video shoot in Florida, so he will be releasing some new
music very soon.
