It's really amazing how people are quick to jugde and curse the mother who abandoned this beautiful gift of God. What if the mother of this baby is some crazy homeless woman? Ever wondered what happens to d pregnant crazy women u pass on d street? Or dont they give birth after 9months? Minof women affairs or some NGO should do something abt that. Wish i could help..

It's really amazing how people are quick to jugde and curse the mother who abandoned this beautiful gift of God. As much as this is a very sad thing to do, the fact is that amongst many who have cursed the mother are ladies who have probably aborted a pregnancy before, and guys who have impregnated ladies and abandoned them when the music got turned up. I can imagine how much tears the mother would have shed when she was dropping the child over the night. I pity both the mother and the child. May God show her mercy and make this child an addition to our world.

This is exactly why people do things in secrecy in Naija. We are among the quickest to judge others when many of us are doing even worse behind closed doors.
Before judging the woman, why not at least commend her for not getting an abortion first off, and then not killing the baby; especially in Naija where the likelihood of getting away with it is high.
You don't know her circumstance. You don't know if she is a teenager, if she was raped and can't bear to raise a child under the circumstance. You don't know if she's just financially unable to care for the child knowing that the Naija government doesn't assist with welfare.
She at least left the child in a public place so he or she could be found. For all of you praying curses on her, I pray you're not being cursed in the same way for other actions you've committed.

let us not support what is wrong all in the name of empathy. if the mother could wait for 9 months, give birth and then throw the baby away, then no need to mince words, she is indeed wicked. she throw the baby near the thrash for pete's sake! she didnt leave him at the orphanage steps. she had wicked intentions and God dont and still dont like all that ugliness and wickedness. what a shame sha o! yesterday an LIB reader complained of enduring 12 years with a child and another who got it so easy throw hers away. lot of kids in this world needing parental love, dear lIB reader of yesterday, this is one for u to cherish in ur heart even though he didnt come from ur body.

I am not knocking down anything you have said, but don't make virginity sound like its the ultimate gift for us men. I didn't get the memo that said a marrying a virgin is the road to a happy marraige. There are lots of women out there that did not marry as virgins and their husbands hold them in high esteem; the world has changed biko.Nothing you say here will stop folks from having sex, we should be more concerned with creating institutions that can take care of legal adoptions so that women can have an alternative, rich folks should get surrogates instead of all the buying and selling of babies we hear about everyday.

What if the mother is not even aware or probably dead and the person who aided the birth did this? What if it was even the father? Anything is possible, people. Don't judge till you get true facts.

She could have just simply taken the child to a motherless babies home than through him away to die. People don't do this any more, this is wickedness! This is to someone somewhere who is probably nursing kind of wicked idea, ple-a-s-e take the baby to a motherless babies home or put the baby up for adoption.
