Pastor Paul Adefarasin's Rock Cathedral to open in March

Pastor Paul Adefarasin's led House on the Rock church building, Rock Cathedral, which has gulped nearly N2billion to erect is nearing completion and, if things go according to plan, will be officially commissioned in March 2012, according to those in the know. The church, which sits on 32, 000 square meters, when completed will sit at least 10, 000 thousand worshipers in the church auditorium and another 10,000 within the church premises. The Rock Cathedral, also known as Millennium Temple is situated along the Lekki Epe Express way, close to Liberty Hall.

Members of House on the Rock church currently use the Expo Hall of the Eko Hotel for their services.

Too big for my liking! I don't know why they love showing off in everything they do! Moderation is the key in life. Winning souls for the lord is more important than all this their ostentatious lifestyles.

lol @ all these mega churches. For what exactly though?

Larger congregation means More tithes for him to use to fly himself and his family firstclass whenever they travel. Pastor Paul ONLY travels first class with his family. i wonder if Jesus were here today and needed to travel if he would only fly first class Also more cash for his wife to keep buying and changing her designer handbags. A pastors wife carrying 3000-5000 dollar handbags when millions cannot eat, feed, pay rent or pay fees. More grease to their elbow o, they do well. Church pastoring na beta businnes. House on the Roack PLC. It remains for them to become listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange

you are complainign that the president spends 1 billion on food. why are you building something worth 2 billion? when the people are hungry? how many charities do you give to? how many activist to eradicate corruption does the church sponsor? thats what god's monry is for..not this

nigerians are blinded by religion. because Solomon built a temple ? but guess what happened to him? he forgot god, and died miserably. his offsprings divided the nation.

there is nothing glorifying god about this buildings/buildings...

fuck nigeria... fuck everyone that's contributing to the misery of my generation...

everyday..i see nigerians running to church praying like there is no tommorow and God shakes his head!

when would we realize that we are already blessed. that we are already successful....we do not need pastors to provide us hope... we need to stop seeking refuge in the cement buildings.....

we have allowed the generations before us change our destiny. we are running outside the country to face undue racism and hardships...

this wicked generation before us will leave us to pick up the pieces of their wicked hearts... its getting too much... they are the pastors buying big houses, slapping people, travelling. they are the ones in control of governments and speak for us to the world and we are perceived as an ignorant nation.

you forced us to got to school for years and then to graduate and do what with it? join you to steal? join you to be harrassed by other nations when they see our passports?? #OCCUPYNIGERIA... OCCUPY NIGERIA

I dont comment on here but anon @ 12:48, think before you talk. He does not fly his family first class. I am a relative, and his kids(my cousins) were on my flight and we flew economy. They are very well behaved, humbled and fear the Lord. Pastor Paul is where he is because of God, if you don't know his story i suggest you go find out before saying what you don't know all in the name of adding gist. There is no bias here, I will call a spade a spade but not when you're telling lies.

You are a sycophant.better keep quiet for life. The pastor is a bad example to this generation. His church business is booming. John the baptist ,Moses,Elijah ,Peter ,James,Paul all had humble life.If the pastor is serious about the Gospel,He should go and preach in the North to Boko Haram.

His target audience are the upper class and to keep them coming, he needs to build an edifice which fits the bill.
If he makes a hell of money it's cos he's done the work for it. If e vex u, start ur own church make we see how u wan hammer!
Only God can judge the actions of man.

all you haters should just shut your frustrated mouths up. if you have nothing better to do then go and hug a transformer. mshew!

Some people are just soooooooooo angry towards life, they are filled with hate and frustration such that nothing positive ever comes out of their mouth. And they wonder why they are not successful.

Be logical in ur reasoning, the church spends a lot renting muson centre 4 their sunday and weekly services, and its quite small that they have 2 hold 3 services buh people still end up watching projectors cus the main hall is 2 small 2 accomodate every 1. They rent Eko hall 4 their cross over service on 31st and y'all should see the crowd der, so please pardon my asking, how big should the new building be? 12seater?

Seriously!!! Nigerians!! Come on!!! every member of house on the rock contributed to this and it's the church's hq that's why so much money was spent on this. SMH!!! Nigerians need to think in a different manner...EVERYONE WISE UP!!

when Jesus comes to take HIS own, the question wont be; 'what church do u/did u attend', but how many people worshiped in Truth and in Spirit......
