Munachi Abii is the new face of Lux soap

Former beauty Queen turned rapper Munachi Abii, known nowadays simply as Muna, has added another credit to her revamped career, not only as a rapper but as a model, presenter and brand ambassador.  As part of the deal brokered by her management company RMG, Muna will appear in TV and print ads across Nigeria and parts of Africa and she would also appear at Lux events. She now joins the list of big names in the world, such as Catherine Zeta-Jones, Aishwarya Rai, Elizabeth Taylor and Genevieve Nnaji who have been Faces of Lux in the past. More pics when you continue...

i dont get it.... why use these 'celebs; fore marketing. we all know they dont use the products, am not going to rush out and buy lux because you ae trying to make me think Muna or Genny uses it. Because i know they dont, they just get paid to market it, so why not get a fine looking up and coming everyday model. thats less superficial to me and may catch my attention unlike yet another marketing deal for these types.

Who says igbo women are thick and manly? Stop hating!!! Lol if it were an igbo doing something bad everyone will be saying something else. This has nothing to do south being light skinned she just happens to be so. Stephanie Oforka, mike ezu's wife and other people. The list is endless. I'll say Igbos, Edo, Efiks/Ibibos, and Rivers girls take it. Not dating others don't have it too but that'd just how i see it. Don't kill me for my opinion!

We need to do away with all these tribal comments. Irrespective of where we are from, we are all fine Nigerian women.

Moving on; she’s really over-marketing herself. Good for her and i guess she’s got to pay her bills.

I remember being allergic to Lux and Joy bars of soap. They gave me serious rashes on the flip side of my elbows when i was in secondary school. The smell also triggered my asthma.

Muna actually reminds me of a family friend, an ex-Joy (or is it Lux) girl Olivia back in the day.

if she were a criminal now everyone would be saying igbo igbo igbo igbo, so now that she is here, i must say igbo igbo igbo!!! oya, die!

Igbo women NO DEY CARRY LAST!!! that's why the other men cannot stay away! hehehe. If Igbo women are ugly, then the other nigerian tribes must look like demons or Neanderthals!

I think say ths generation no dey do this tribe thingy.

Yorubas - lovely culture, style, food, not so much , but y'all are fun

IBOs - Hustlers,beauty, brain,lovely culture style etc

Hausas - Y'all have some seriously fine ass brothers ...and....sisters, and the North used to be fun to visit...now una just need to weed out the defacers! Culture is tied to religion so i not fit comment too much, but nothing do una sha, just clean u the mess. I used to love watching 'Behind the Clouds' etc

Other tribes - I no fit write all of them down, una dey rock , fine stylish, brains beauty, everything.

So which one be una own inside this Lux girl matter ???

foolish tribalistic comments by foolish people (mostly girls). no one person is better than another simply because of tribe

Muna's father is Calabar by the way but she claims her mum's state. Sorry guys.

Muna's father is not from Calabar, lol. her entire name is Igbo, unless there is something i don't know.
