African Fashion Week London fantastic news! The organizers however should reconsider how they go about advertising the event to potential designers who they would like to participate in the two day event. They are misleading designers by offering sponsorship to take part, which they say includes a free stylist, makeup artist, models and press and the OPTION of exhibiting and generating sales at the cost of £250 over the two days. Well like most things that sound too good to be true this unfortunately is one of them.
The offer of free sponsorship is merely to entice you and what they are really offering /selling you is the exhibition space at the cost of £250. While such events are not cheap to fund and someone somewhere has to foot the cost an honest approach may be as effective as having to be bend the truth.
