Five natural herbs that women should have in their homes and why - Quincy Ayodele.

Quincy Ayodele

Quincy Ayodele is a herbal therapist with 15 years experience. Here are the five natural herbs she recommends women should have in there homes.
Ginger, cloves, lemon grass, bitter lemon and pawpaw.

Why you need this when you continue...

Ginger and cloves are very good herbs that aid digestion. An infusion of the two is very good for combating nausea (as in case of morning sickness) and curing nausea. It's particularly good for mothers who have children that may have pile or such. Ginger is also used to to relieve menstrual cramps.

Lemon grass is very high in antioxidants and is used when one has cold, flu or even fever.

Bitter lemon is used in reducing blood sugar, high cholesterol and boosting immunity.

Pawpaw could be used in the treatment of obesity. Eat one pawpaw for three days. 1/3 pawpaw flesh as breakfast, 1/3 of the pawpaw seed swallowed with a cup of grapefruit juice as lunch and drinking of infused pawpaw leaf or skin at night for three days. This will make you loose a lot of weight. People with ulcer should never try this.

Don't know about the rest of the things mentioned, but pawpaw as a weight loss formula in isolation is a losing proposition.

Only way to lose weight is to change one's diet and engage in exercise.

Diet simply entails reducing your daily calorie intake to a number required to lose weithg, exercise simply means burning calories.

Eating a heavy plate of pounded yam, along with heavy soup and three pieces of meat, then washing it down with a bottle of gulder will not lead to weight loss even if one eats 2 paw paws a day.

Of course the opposite effect is had if one eats paw paw only and foregoes all else...

Vinegar: Apple Cider Vinegar.

Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar - the best. Never seen it in England, bt you can get it if u are in the US. The Apple Cider Vinegar from Tesco or Sainsbury's can do same job as Bragg's. Vinegar is not right for pregnant women. Google it. Health benefits of Vinegar? You will be amazed. I always add vinegar and lemon juice to my drinking water.

Google:
"apple cider vinegar weight loss"
"apple cider vinegar benefits"
"apple cider vinegar diet"
"vinegar health benefits"
"vinegar diet"
"vinegar uses"
"apple cider vinegar hair"

Honey: Raw Honey.

Garlic: Raw Garlic.

Olive Oil: Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

Lemon Juice.

Lemon Grass.

Fresh Garden Mint.

Apple: Fresh. Green. Chopped / diced. Dipped in raw honey and mustard. Hmmm... I can almost taste it now...

Coriander Leaf.

Thyme.

Plum Cherries.

Neckarines.

Peaches.

Plums.

Appricots.

Pure Sesame Oil.

Reggae Raggae Sauce.

Soy Sauce.

Newman's Own Italian Dressing.

Moroccan Tagine Sauce (Apricot & Coriander). Or any Tagine Sauce.

Stir Fry Sauce. Any.

Add all the above (half a teaspoon, or less) to your (already) cooked food (I use them raw - on top of the food - once a day or once a week or whenever I remember / have the time), then sack your GP. You won't be needing their lousy Paracetamol prescription for cold / hay fever or winter blues. For cold / hay fever or winter blues, you are better off with Forceval capsules, Piriton (allergy tablets), and Flixonase Allergy (Nasal Spray).

I could be a Herbalist & Alchemist :)

to Anonymous@11.43PM, yes this quack still dey- I happen to bump into her on a flight to London and I can confidently tell you that she has obviously not been following her own advice- she did not look as young as I had expected too and the young lady with her (presumably her daughter) looked like she was struggling to shed her post-natal fat. Really the best way of losing weight to eat in moderation, drink plenty of water and exercise!

She looks good. I like it when people know what they are talking about.

she might be real but to me, she seems fake.
